Not at all! For maternity sessions, I often recommend my 13-acre property, where I know the light and settings perfectly. It’s the ideal spot to capture that gorgeous golden hour glow. Plus, I have a charming tree swing that adds a special touch for Plus or Full sessions. Let me handle the location so you can simply enjoy the experience.

do i have to pick the session location? 

Hair and make up isn't a service I provide, but I am happy to offer recommendations.  I highly recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done before we start your photoshoot. Not only does this help you look and feel your best for the shoot, but it also allows you to be truly pampered. It can give you an extra boost of self-confidence before stepping in front of the camera.

Do you provide hair and Make up?

I recommend reaching out during your second trimester to ensure availability, especially if you’re due in the fall or holiday season when my evenings tend to book quickly. Maternity sessions are best scheduled to take place between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy, a time when you’ll feel your best and your baby bump will be beautifully prominent.

When should I schedule a maternity session?

Flowing dresses or form-fitting gowns are ideal for showcasing your baby bump in a flattering way. Neutral tones, pastels, or soft solid colors photograph beautifully and ensure the focus remains on you. If you’d rather not purchase something new, I’ve got you covered! My client closet is stocked with timeless wardrobe options designed to complement every momma’s style.
